Global TechConnect Official Launch: Advancing Women’s Leadership in the Digital Economy

Tod’Aérs Global Network (TGN) is pleased to announce the official launch ceremony of Global TechConnect: Accelerating Women’s Leadership in the Digital Economy, an international initiative initiated by H.E. Pamela Gidi in strategic collaboration with Tod’Aérs Global Network (TGN).

The launch ceremony will take place online on 21 May 2026, at 10:00 DC Time / 16:00 CET. This high-level event will introduce the vision, strategic objectives, and opportunities of Global TechConnect, a global initiative designed to strengthen women’s leadership in technology, digital innovation, policy, and investment.

Global TechConnect responds to a critical challenge in the digital economy: the underrepresentation of women, particularly from emerging economies and the Global South, in technology leadership, digital policy formulation, and innovation ecosystems. Through its structured model, the initiative aims to connect high-potential women with global leaders, mentors, institutions, and opportunities that can accelerate their professional growth and leadership impact.

The programme is built around key pillars, including a Global Tech Mentorship Network, Regional Tech Capacity Hubs, a Global Digital Inclusion Index, a Global Leadership & Strategy Fellowship, and the “Connectivity for Her” Global Advocacy Platform. These components are designed to provide women with advanced skills, strategic networks, visibility, and access to leadership pathways in the global digital economy.

By supporting this initiative, TGN reaffirms its commitment to inclusive innovation, digital transformation, gender equality, and sustainable development. Global TechConnect is not only a platform for capacity-building; it is a strategic global mechanism to help women shape the future of technology, policy, and economic growth.
