Tod’Aérs Deputy Chairperson of the Governing Board H.E. Pamela Gidi Highlights Women’s Leadership, AI and Gender Equality During Visit to Technion

H.E. Pamela Gidi, Deputy Chairperson of the Governing Board of Tod’Aérs Global Network [TGN], took part in the 32nd International Women Leaders Conference, held under the theme “Shaping the Future: Women’s Leadership, AI & Gender Equality.”

As part of the conference, participants visited the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, one of the world’s leading institutions in science, technology, engineering and innovation. The visit focused on how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, can help accelerate progress toward gender equality and strengthen women’s participation in advanced scientific and technological fields.

A key moment of the visit was a panel featuring women researchers working in areas such as biotechnology, data science and biomedical engineering. The discussion highlighted the importance of inclusion, mentorship, institutional support and early empowerment in enabling more women to pursue leadership roles in science and technology.

Reflecting on the visit, Ms. Gidi emphasized how inspiring it was to see that even a highly demanding engineering institution can move toward balanced women–men participation by motivating and empowering women from an early age.
