Tod’Aérs Board Member His Excellency Luis A. Salazar participated in the GET Forum 2025: Global Entrepreneurship and Technology for Latin America and the Caribbean, held in El Salvador.
The event brought together leaders, policymakers, technology experts, entrepreneurs, and development partners to discuss how innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies can support inclusive growth and address urgent public challenges across Latin America and the Caribbean.
H.E. Luis A. Salazar joined the panel titled “How Can the Region Shape Purpose-Driven AI to Tackle Urgent Public Challenges and Maximize Impact?” The discussion was moderated by Pilar Giron Davila of the Inter-American Development Bank and featured contributions from Deborah Galindo of Meta.
The panel explored how artificial intelligence can be designed and deployed with purpose, responsibility, and impact. Discussions focused on the role of AI in supporting public policy, improving institutional capacity, strengthening innovation ecosystems, and responding to complex social and economic challenges in the region.
H.E. Luis A. Salazar’s participation highlighted the importance of aligning technological innovation with human-centered development. His contribution emphasized that artificial intelligence should not only accelerate digital transformation, but also help governments, institutions, and communities create more inclusive, resilient, and future-ready societies.
