Tod’Aérs Board Member H.E. Luis A. Salazar Moderates Artificial Intelligence Panel at Argentina Digital Summit in Buenos Aires



Tod’Aérs Board Member His Excellency Luis A. Salazar participated in the Argentina Digital Summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he moderated the panel titled “Argentina: The Center of the Revolution in Artificial Intelligence.”


The panel brought together experts from the public sector, private companies, academia, technology policy, and digital innovation to discuss what Argentina needs to consolidate its position as a strong artificial intelligence hub in Latin America. The discussion addressed the country’s opportunities in AI, as well as the strategic conditions required to transform talent and innovation potential into long-term regional leadership.


During the session, participants explored key issues including national purpose, infrastructure, computing capacity, energy, data centers, connectivity, public policy, investment incentives, talent development, equality, inclusion, and the role of private companies in accelerating AI adoption.


The discussion featured contributions from Olga Cavalli, Academic Director of the South School on Internet Governance; Tamar Colodenco, Public Policy and Government Relations Manager for the Southern Cone at Google; Sonia Agnese, Senior Analyst for Latin America at Omdia; Luis Ottati, Director of Engineering at ENACOM; Paloma Szerman, Senior Public Policy Manager at Mercado Libre; Sebastian Kaplan, digital technology public policy specialist; and Alejandro Prince, Director of Prince Consulting.


Through his moderation, H.E. Luis A. Salazar helped guide a strategic conversation on how Argentina can move from technological potential to concrete AI leadership. The panel highlighted the importance of aligning infrastructure, governance, investment, talent, and inclusion in order to build an artificial intelligence ecosystem that supports competitiveness, innovation, and social progress.
